Sword coast legends mods8/27/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() That’s right, Sword Coast wears many hats single player game, four-player cooperative dungeon crawler, 4vs1 multiplayer game wherein four friends team up to take on dungeons that are actively DM’d by a fifth player who constructs their own dungeons and stories also also manipulates baddies in real time to trounce said four friends, and content/scenario maker thanks to the devs giving players a wide range of tools to forge their very own D&D campaigns. Sword Coast Legends tells many tales: a 30-40 hour story campaign written by the developers, and then all of the modules made by fans that are also available to play through. Sword Coast Legends, then, is in a tough spot not only does it have to usurp the reputation garnered by those recent failings - after all, many fans would say there hasn’t been a quality D&D game since the mid-2000s - but it also has to compete with others in its genre, not tied down to the weighty franchise name, that have managed to redefine the cRPG genre. Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights are the two games that immediately come to mind as those that have managed to successfully capitalize on the illustrious franchise, while others like Daggerdale, Neverwinter, D&D Online and D&D Tactics failed to recreate that which we deem synonymous with the series. Yet, despite its age, there have only been a few video games bearing the same namesake that have lived up to the tabletop’s prestige, regardless of the fact that there have also been scores of attempts at capturing the pen-and-paper magic via digital means. Dungeons & Dragons has endured over 40 years because of its engrossing storytelling opportunities and do-as-you-will encounter options.

Biden press conference today8/27/2023 Key Backgroundīiden has a long history of misstatements that have prompted criticism from his Republican foes and made him the butt of late-night television jokes. 70% of respondents said they do not want him to run again. ![]() That’s the percentage of Americans who cited Biden’s age in saying they do not believe he should seek a second term, according to a recent NBC News poll. “My buddy John McCain’s gone,” Biden admitted. He did not say he would expending his energies on wooing McConnell or other Republicans. “Based on some of the stuff we’ve got done, I’d say yes,” Biden said, “but it’s not nearly as unified as it should be.”Īs for the year-two relaunch that many feel is now required, Biden promised to get out and talk to the public more often, bring in more academics, editorial writers and thinktanks for expert advice, and get “deeply involved” in the midterm elections. One question, harking back to that inaugural address on a chilly day at the US Capitol, asked if the nation was less divided now than it was a year ago. Towards the end, he appeared to meander, drifting into talk about the cable news industry “heading south”. He caused a diplomatic kerfuffle by seeming to imply that a Russian “minor incursion” into Ukraine would not be such a big deal, forcing the White House to clean up and clarify. He insisted that his Build Back Better agenda was the best antidote to inflation but conceded it would have to be broken into “chunks” to get through Congress. Biden admitted that more coronavirus testing should have been done earlier. The president took question after question in a press conference that ran longer than any given by Obama or Trump. It was hardly “Morning in America” but it would have to do. Look, we’re not there yet, but we will get there.” “We’re moving toward a time when Covid-19 won’t disrupt our daily lives, where Covid-19 won’t be a crisis but something to protect against and a threat. “It will get better,” he insisted from a lectern on a rug spread out on the shiny wood floor. He fired off a barrage of statistics – more than 210 million Americans vaccinated, more than 6 million jobs created – that show him in a favourable light. “I didn’t over-promise but I have, probably, outperformed what anybody thought would happen,” he claimed. Wearing a dark blue suit with handkerchief in top left pocket, white shirt and yellow and blue striped tie, Biden naturally began with some chest-thumping about his record. Biden promised to unite the nation but has not even united his own party.īiden has restored civility to the White House – even at its weirdest moments or even when he snapped at reporters, this event had nothing on insult-hurling Trump – but has conducted the fewest press conferences in his first year as president since Ronald Reagan. ![]() Manchin and his fellow holdout Democrat, Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, seem determined to upstage the Biden presidency at every turn. As a symbol of presidential impotence, the split screen was hard to beat. Joe Manchin of West Virginia was busy explaining his opposition to reform of the filibuster, a procedural rule that is standing in the way of the voting rights bills in an evenly divided Senate. This attempt to reframe the narrative by shining a light on Republicans instead of self-inflicted wounds was somewhat undercut because, at that very moment, a member of his own party was holding court in the Senate. “They weren’t nearly as obstructionist as they are now,” he insisted. He was asked if he should have expected this after eight years as Barack Obama’s vice-president, in which he witnessed the Republican party organising around the principle of “no”. “Did you ever think that one man out of office could intimidate an entire party where they’re unwilling to take any vote contrary to what he thinks should be taken for fear of being defeated in primary?” the president asked.īiden told the story of five Republican senators who privately told him they agreed with him but admitted: “Joe, if I do it, I’ll get defeated in a primary.” He turned the tables on reporters, asking if they thought we’d ever get to a point where not a single Republican would diverge on a major issue.īiden will be praised for speaking plainly about one of America’s two major parties having gone off the rails. Biden said Mitch McConnell ‘has one straightforward objective: make sure that there’s nothing I do that makes me look good’.

Bgp full mesh8/27/2023 ![]() The same happen on R2, it prefers routes comming from R4-R3-R1 than R2-R1 because of the link capacity and quality and if just R4-R2 link fall down, then, R2 will send and receive all traffi to and from R1 (R2-R1 link).ģ- Yes, I use OSPF to route internal links, I just use static routes to reach destination even if OSPF takes "a long" time to become up. R4 receive full routing from R3 and R2 and prefer R3 link than R2 one, but if link R1-R3 fails, of course all traffic, including R3 will flow through R2. That's because of my "lack of understanding" the way RR actually works.Īs you well see I want to propagate full routes between the routers and then, depends on various things, for example link capacity, choose route on. I tried lots of different configurations to use Route Reflector but I always finish in a routing loop. why are you establishing iBGP., that's exactly what I want to achieve (my final goal). This would achieve what you're looking for. One question, why are you establishing iBGP peering sessions with each one of your routers? Unless you use a Route Reflector, which I don't see you're using, you'll need a full mesh, and that's a pain the configure even for just a few routers.ġ.- Establish an iBGP session between your border routers (R0-OUT-01 and R0-OUT-02)Ģ.- Establish some sort of tunnel between them (GRE, IP-IP, etc.) the important part here, is that the tunnel must travel from your internal networkģ.- Add OSPF (why static routes? you're already using OSPF), include the tunnel's networks tooĤ.- Make R0-OUT-01 and R0-OUT-02 publish a default route, this way, your users will get to the internet over the nearest oneĥ.- In case there are some routes R0-OUT-01 doesn't know, but 02 does, it can send the traffic to it over the tunnelĦ.- In case R0-OUT-01 or 02 goes down, due to you publishing the default routes and using OSPF, the traffic would get re-routed to the nearest exit If you need more information (which I think you need) let me know. I think I have a very issue with the understanding of RR!!! Third, I create a bgp peer R1-R2, R1-R3, R1-R5, R4-R3, R4-R2, R1-R5, R1-R6, R6-R5)Īfter that (I suppouse to propagate the prefix received from R0.) I've tried to set up client-to-client-reflection = yes (and no), and Route-reflector= yes (and no) but no matter what I do I always finish in a loop. ![]() I used OSPF to connect transit networks, then I establish a peer connection between every direct peer, R1-R2 but NEVER R1-R4. Second, I create a static route to reach every connected destination (R1-R2, R1-R3, R4-R3, R4-R2, R1-R5, R1-R6, R6-R5) I used 100.64.0.0/10 range to do that. The same situation happen with R1 and R2 or R1 and R3 of course R4 are connected to R3 and R2.įirst I set up a Loopback interface (bridge with mac) on every box and assign a /32. ![]() ![]() R1 and R5 are connected each other directly and through R6 as you can see. R0-OUT-02 is EQUAL to R0-OUT-01 with the same ASN for Internet and IXP but it is in another city. The first one, let's say ASN 10 is the Internet connection the second one, let's say ASN 20 is the IXP. I really don't know where is the problem.įirst of all, every link you see in the draw is a phisical link in FO or Wireless Link. I tried lots of configurations using RR but everytime I try a new configuration I finish in an eternal loop. It should be capable to self routing when a link becomes offline. I have this situation, which is my real (i mean, physical) network structure and what I want to achieve is to establish a fully meshed network.

Enter to Win Biscuits are also wonderful dipped in this scrumptious gravy. I always love to make mashed potatoes and veggies to go with this dish. There are several different ways to make 3-ingredient Crock Pot pork chops. One of my favorite things about this crock pot pork chops recipe is the delicious gravy it creates. The soups really add a lot of flavor to this dish as it cooks. 10.75 ounces cream of chicken soup 1 can 1 ounce dry ranch seasoning mix 1 packet 3 teaspoons minced garlic cup chicken broth 4 thick cut pork chops bone. Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5-6 hours. Nestle the pork chops down into the sauce. The great news is, however, you can use any pork chops your family prefers. Stir the cream of mushroom soup, canned (or sauteed) mushrooms, garlic powder, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce together in the bottom of your Crock Pot or slow cooker. ![]() can) cream of mushroom soupĪs I noted above, I like using boneless pork chops when I make this dish. In a saucepan, heat cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and chicken broth just until everything is melted and incorporated. 4-6 pork chops, bone-in or boneless (I used New York pork chops) To make this dish, place the pork chops in the crockpot. ![]() Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make these tasty smothered pork chops. My easy crock pot pork chops are truly a set-it-and-forget-it slow cooker meal. How to Make Boneless Pork Chops in Crock Pot Another alternative is to use the sour cream and cornstarch but add in a little bouillon (enough for 2 cups water. You can use 1 cup sour cream whisked with 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon parsley flakes, and teaspoon celery seed with salt and pepper to taste. My husband actually suggested we have this recipe on Thanksgiving.Īfter you take one bite of these tender slow cooker pork chops you’re going to know what I mean. There are just so many ways you can prepare them! I must have inherited his love for this flavorful cut of pork because I love cooking pork chops for my family. Growing up, my mom always made pork chops because it’s my dad’s favorite dinner. These crock pot pork chops are a perfect example! There’s just something special about a homestyle dinner made in a crock pot. While pressure cookers are all the rage right now, I have a confession to make. I’d like to thank The Ohio Pork Council for sponsoring my smothered crock pot pork chops recipe. This is an easy slow cooker pork chops recipe that you can set and forget until supper time. In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the cream soups, beef broth. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours OR Low for 6 hours. Our crock pot pork chops with gravy are tender and delicious. How To Disable SIP or Rootless mode on Macįollow these steps to disable System Integrity Protection (SIP) on your Intel Mac.ġ. Got an Apple Silicon M1 Mac? Here’s how you can disable System Integrity Protection (SIP) on M1 Macs. Steps to do this on macOS Catalina or later are also the same.īefore you proceed it is worth mentioning again that System Integrity Protection (SIP) is a security feature and disabling it will make your Mac more vulnerable. In this tutorial we will show you how to disable SIP on Intel Macs running OS X El Capitan or later. If you find SIP or rootless mode unnecessary and want to disable System Integrity Protection on Intel powered Mac, then you have to follow a few simple steps. ![]() While it is recommended for everyone to keep the SIP or rootless mode enabled at all times, there are instances when you want to disable it in order to perform certain operations on your computer, use different utilities or when you want to use certain programs that cannot work with SIP enabled. The rootless mode stops any user, System Administrator or otherwise from modifying certain OS files and directories. This is especially true for malware that modifies system files. The feature that is also commonly known as rootless mode makes the Mac more secure and less vulnerable to malware. You can follow the same steps on all versions of macOS included macOS Monterey.Īpple added a new security feature to macOS with macOS El Capitan known as System Integrity Protection (SIP). That user is also an administrator. System Integrity Protection is enabled by default but can be disabled. In this tutorial we will show you how to disable System Integrity Protection (SIP) on Intel Macs. System Integrity Protection (SIP, sometimes called rootless) is a security feature of Apple’s macOS operating system introduced in OS X El Capitan (OS X 10.11). It includes some mechanisms implemented by the kernel. One central is protecting system-owned files and directories against modification by processes without specific “rights”, even when executed by the root user or the authorized user root (sudo).Īpple says that the root user can be a significant risk factor to system security, especially on a single user account. What is System Integrity Protection (SIP)? Gatekeeper is a security feature of Apple’s macOS operating system. It enforces code signing and verifies downloaded applications before allowing them to run, thus reducing the chance of inadvertently executing malware. Gatekeeper builds on File Quarantine, introduced in Mac OS X Leopard and extended in Mac OS X Snow Leopard, i.e., has been available on Mac since version 10.7. ![]()

Pica artery dissection survival8/27/2023 ![]() ![]() VADA is usually not amenable to treatment with standard clipping or coil embolization due to the morphology of the lesion. Therefore, ruptured VADA is treated emergently to prevent mortality and severe disability. In patients with rebleeding, the mortality rate is high and has been estimated near 50%. However, ruptured VADA presents a precarious situation with a high propensity for subsequent rebleeding, estimated at 30–70% and typically occurring within hours to days of the initial event. Due to its uncertain natural history, the management of unruptured lesions is controversial. Alongside surgical and endovascular treatment options, conservative management may be considered. Unruptured VADA may present with headache, ischemic symptoms (e.g., lateral medullary syndrome), or mass effect, and remain stable or even improve without treatment. The hematoma may be eccentric to the adventitia or intima subadventitial dissection preferentially occurs in the VA alone and presents as aneurysmal enlargement and SAH whereas subintimal dissection preferentially involves the basilar artery and presents with luminal narrowing and brainstem ischemia. Intracranial VADA results from a tear in the intima, degeneration of the media, or disruption of the internal elastic lamina, which lead to the formation of an intramural hematoma. Vertebral artery dissecting aneurysms (VADA) cause 3–5% of cases of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), particularly in middle-aged men, and can occasionally involve the posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA). Keywords: Flow-diverting stent, Posterior inferior cerebellar artery, Vertebral artery dissecting aneurysm In select cases, in which the surgical risk is low or in which the anatomy is favorable (e.g., nondominant parent vessel or robust collateral circulation in the involved territories), parent artery trapping with or without microsurgical revascularization can be considered. Flow-diverting stents appear to offer the most favorable balance of securing the aneurysm and avoiding medullary infarction, but the risks and optimal anti-thrombotic treatment strategy are incompletely understood. The methods of surgical and endovascular treatment of these cases were reviewed, with particular focus on the rationale of treatment, outcomes, and complications.Ĭonclusion: Numerous treatment options for VADA involving PICA have been reported with different risk and benefit profiles. Review of the literature identified 124 cases of VADA involving the PICA origin described over the past decade. Ultimately, the patient experienced a contralateral intraparenchymal hemorrhage leading to death. After consideration of the patient’s cerebral vasculature and robustness of collaterals, a flow-diverting stent was placed with angiographic resolution of the lesion and maintenance of antegrade PICA flow. We present an illustrative case and review the literature surrounding treatment strategies.Ĭase Description: We report a patient presenting with extensive subarachnoid hemorrhage due to rupture of an intracranial VADA involving the PICA origin. Severe occlusion of this artery or to vertebral arteries could lead to Horner's Syndrome as well. Background: Vertebral artery dissecting aneurysm (VADA) involving the origin of the posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) is a complex disease entity in which the dual goals of preventing future rebleeding and maintaining perfusion of the lateral medulla must be considered. The medial branch continues backward to the notch between the two hemispheres of the cerebellum while the lateral supplies the under surface of the cerebellum, as far as its lateral border, where it anastomoses with the anterior inferior cerebellar and the superior cerebellar branches of the basilar artery.īranches from this artery supply the choroid plexus of the fourth ventricle.Ī disrupted blood supply to posterior inferior cerebellar artery due to a thrombus or embolus can result in a stroke and lead to lateral medullary syndrome. ![]() It winds backward around the upper part of the medulla oblongata, passing between the origins of the vagus nerve and the accessory nerve, over the inferior cerebellar peduncle to the undersurface of the cerebellum, where it divides into two branches. The PICA supplies blood to the medulla oblongata the choroid plexus and tela choroidea of the fourth ventricle the tonsils the inferior vermis, and the inferior parts of the cerebellum. Blockage of the posterior inferior cerebellar artery can result in a type of stroke called lateral medullary syndrome. It is one of the three main arteries that supply blood to the cerebellum, a part of the brain. The posterior inferior cerebellar artery ( PICA) is the largest branch of the vertebral artery.

Molly bubble guppies age8/26/2023 ![]() Heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne guest starred as Sid Fishy in the 2015 episode "Super Guppies!", while actor George Takei guest starred in a sci-fi mashup which pitted him as a Darth Vader-like armored villain against starship captain Gil and his first officer, Mr. Minor characters include a police officer named Miranda and a winged serpent named Pretzel-coatl. Grouper wave goodbye to the viewer as the guppies go back inside.Ī significant contribution to the show's popularity is its two-level humor track. Gil and Molly's sketches were removed as well, instead having Mr. Grouper's presence was primarily reduced to the beginning class segments. With the exception of select special episodes, Mr. Gil and Molly simply introduce themselves before the theme song with no opening gag, the show cuts right to school after the theme, and the dance songs and field trips were removed. Season 5 introduced a new series format which keeps the initial format, but this time has the story segment take up the majority of the episode, and incorporates the shop and lunch segments into the narrative (basically with the new structure, which was first introduced in Season 5, the store and meal parts are now integrated into the story and the story section takes up the bulk of the show). The credits then roll which include a song played earlier in that episode. The episode concludes with a final sketch by Gil and Molly, followed by a shorter version of the theme song. ![]() They yell out, "FIELD TRIP!" This may focus on a problem shown earlier and involves the key characters. The guppies may go on a field trip that focuses on the theme. ![]() Afterward, Gil and Molly do another sketch. Once back inside, a second song is typically performed. Outside the classroom, the guppies act out a story about the theme, interfused with Adobe Flash-animated graphics. Grouper says, "Line up everybody, it's time to go outside!" followed by the "outside song". After lunch, another Gil and Molly sketch is shown.Īfter the sketch, some classroom activity is shown further reinforcing that episode's topic, or Mr. Grouper often ends this segment by asking, "Excuse me, what time is it?" in a call and response pattern, with the guppies responding, "It's time for lunch!" three times.Īt lunch, three of the characters make a food pun about the subject of the episode usually done by Nonny. Jokes and silly responses will eventually lead to the correct necessity. The owner of the shop (usually played by Deema) will ask questions about what they need. One of the guppies may go to a shop that mostly focuses on the theme (example: a doctor's office in "Call a Clambulance!"). Usually, Molly or Gil sing this song, but there are episodes where Deema or Mr. A song follows, focusing on the episode's main theme. He suggests, "Let's think about it", and the characters discuss the theme. ![]() For example, Avi breaks his tail in "Call a Clambulance!" when Oona is on the way to school. After the theme song, the Little Fish say the episode's name.Īn event may occur when one or more characters is on the way to school. One or both of the two then state 'It's time for Bubble Guppies!', and the theme song plays. The series starts with an introduction by Molly, saying 'Hi, it's me, Molly, and it's time for-' only to be stopped by Gil performing an act related to the episode's subject. Then the Little Fish breaks the fourth wall by saying the title of the show to the audience. The episode starts with the show logo in a room and it is filling with water. Format Season 1-4 FormatĪll episodes follow a similar format. On February 19, 2020, the show was renewed for a sixth season, which premiered on October 19, 2021. The fifth season premiered on September 27, 2019. The series is produced using 3D software.Īlmost three years after the last episode of its original run, it was revived for a fifth season on Jwith an order of 26 episodes. The program premiered on Nickelodeon on January 24, 2011, and originally ran for four seasons until its conclusion on October 21, 2016. The series is a combination of the sketch comedy, edutainment, and musical genres, and revolves around the underwater adventures of a group of merperson preschoolers named Molly, Gil, Goby, Deema, Oona, Nonny, and Zooli. Ghirardi echofon8/26/2023 ![]() “Independent developers built the first Twitter client for Mac and the first native app for iPhone. “3rd party clients have had a notable impact on the Twitter service and the products we built,” read a 2018 memo from Rob Johnson, who was the company’s developer platform lead at the time. (Side note: it’s hard to believe that Twitter couldn’t have made alternative apps serve ads if it wanted or needed to.) At times, Twitter has seemingly recognized the value outside developers added. And, yes, people have used third-party clients to get an ad-free Twitter experience, not because they purposefully stripped out ads but because Twitter didn’t serve them through the API. The apps have also acted as safe havens from Twitter’s changes they didn’t have the flood of recommended and out-of-order tweets that the official app did, and they gave us options for using a Twitter app for Macs after the official one was discontinued for a year. Screenshot: Echofon via The Wayback Machine Echofon added the ability to mute unwanted users and hashtags in 2011, a feature the official versions didn’t get until 2014. Third-party client users, who numbered in the millions in 2018, often enjoyed features years before they came to the official app. TweetDeck, a part of The Verge’s newsroom to this day, was an independent app for years until the company bought it. It’s also not the only time Twitter acquired a popular third-party client outright. Images: Tweetie / Twitter via The Wayback Machine In 2015, the company also hired a developer of a different third-party client to improve its Android app. Even if you haven’t heard of Tweetie before, you may have used it in 2010, Twitter acquired it and made it the official iPhone client. A client called Tweetie is widely credited for inventing the pull-to-refresh interaction that’s become almost ubiquitous throughout iOS and Android for refreshing all sorts of feeds. Third-party apps have had a massive impact on how we use smartphone apps in general, not just Twitter. (Originally, Twitter preferred “twittering.”) Twitterific also led the way in using a bird logo. It wasn’t until at least a year later that Twitter the company started using the phrase too. Instead, it was suggested by Blaine Cook, a QA tester for The Iconfactory’s third-party client, and immediately adopted. ![]() The idea that a “tweet” would be what we call a Twitter post didn’t actually come from the company itself, according to a blog post from Twitterific developer Craig Hockenberry. Take, for example, that word I just used - tweeting. The iPhone’s App Store wouldn’t come along until over a year later. Here’s a screenshot from Twitterific’s site in 2007, with the bird explaining how to install the Mac app. Twitter didn’t put a bird in its logo until 2010. They’ve also acted as a safe haven from unwanted changes, helping to keep people tweeting when they were ready to give up on the platform. As many people have pointed out over the past week, third-party clients helped make Twitter the platform it is today, innovating parts of Twitter we take for granted and, in the early days, helping form the company’s very identity. It’s a loss for all the people who used the apps and, almost certainly, a loss for Twitter itself. After Twitter cut off their API access and changed its rules to bar apps that compete with its own, The Iconfactory has announced that it’s discontinuing Twitterific, Fenix has been pulled from app stores, and Tapbots has posted a memorial for Tweetbot. The age of great third-party Twitter clients may be over. The third-party apps Twitter just killed made the site what it is today |
